Pub Cheese Spread (Vegan and Oil Free)

Pub Cheese Spread

Prep Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1/4 cup chickpea miso
  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • powder from 1 probiotic capsule
  • 1 1/2 cups vegan beer I use Shiner Bock.

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until completely smooth.

  2. Pour into a storage container. I recommend a pint size mason jar.

  3. If you have an Instant Pot or other device with a yogurt setting, place the jar inside and set for 12 hours. If not, cover with a coffee filter or several layers of cheesecloth, secure with a ring lid or a rubber band, and set in a warm spot for 12 hours.

  4. Cover and refrigerate before serving. It should keep for 2 weeks.
